The Huntlogic Model

Compliance is the foundation.
Advisory is the lens.
Software is the lever.

Each of our three service lines feeds the next. Together they create something most advisory firms can't offer: a practice that builds permanent capability in the businesses we serve.

Most advisory firms are built for breadth. We are built for depth. The businesses we serve are specialised, regulated and operationally complex. Generic advice doesn't cut it — so we don't give it.

Our Three Service Lines

How we work

Service Line 01

Systemised Compliance

Compliance fails when it depends on memory. Most small businesses manage their CIPC filings, SARS obligations, B-BBEE certificates and employment records through a combination of calendar reminders, emails and institutional knowledge that walks out the door when a team member leaves.

We replace that with documented, repeatable systems. Every obligation is mapped to a timeline, assigned to a responsible party and supported by the right template or process document. The goal is a compliance function that runs reliably even when you're not watching it — and that survives growth, restructuring and staff changes.

For our medical clients this means HPCSA renewals, SARS employer obligations, B-BBEE affidavits and CIPC directorship records. For our export clients it means VAT documentation packs, forex repatriation tracking and SARS audit readiness folders. The system is built for your sector, not retrofitted from a generic framework.

Service Line 02

Embedded Advisory

Advisory that only shows up at year-end is retrospective. By the time the numbers land on your accountant's desk, the decisions have already been made. We engage monthly — sitting inside your operations, reading your management accounts and surfacing what the numbers are actually saying.

Think of this as a part-time CFO who also happens to understand your sector's specific regulatory environment. We cover financial performance analysis, tax position review, cash flow modelling and forward planning — and because we're building systems alongside you, our advisory is connected to the operational reality, not just the spreadsheet.

We don't give advice and leave. We give advice and then help you implement it — adjusting the systems, updating the processes and tracking whether the changes are working.

Service Line 03

BA-SaaS

Business Advisory Software as a Service. This is where we build. When we see the same problem recurring across multiple clients in a sector — a calculation that everyone is doing manually, a report that nobody can produce quickly, a compliance task that has no good tool — we build a solution and make it available to the industry.

The difference between our software and off-the-shelf products is that ours starts with a real-world design brief. Every feature exists because a real client needed it. Every edge case has been encountered before we built the fix. The result is lean, focused software that actually fits the workflow it was built for.

Our compliance template store is the first public expression of this. The provisional tax estimator, the VAT audit preparation guide, the director resignation letter — each one was built because a client needed it and there was no good version available. More sector-specific tools are in development.

Development Process

How we build a BA-SaaS tool

Every tool goes through four stages. No stage is skipped — the sequence is deliberate.

1

AI Adaptation Audit

We audit the sector's current workflow — interviewing practitioners, reviewing existing tools and mapping every manual step. Then we identify where AI can replace repetitive judgment with reliable automation. This produces a prioritised list of high-value automation opportunities.

2

Process Diagnosis

We take the highest-priority problem and diagnose it across multiple clients — mapping every variation, edge case and exception. This stage produces the real design brief: not what the tool should ideally do, but what it actually needs to handle to be useful in practice.

3

Software Development

We build lean. The tool does one thing well before it tries to do two things. We use real client data to test every calculation, every edge case and every output format. Beta clients test in production, not in a sandbox — their feedback shapes the final product before release.

4

Industry Replication

The tool is packaged, documented and made available to the broader sector — giving every business in that space access to a solution that was built from the inside out. Pricing is kept accessible by design: the goal is sector-wide improvement, not a moat.

Our Philosophy

Why compliance feeds everything

Compliance is unglamorous work. But it creates something irreplaceable: a structured, documented record of how a business operates. When you have that record, advisory becomes precise — because you're working from facts, not estimates.

Advisory, in turn, surfaces patterns. When you sit inside a business month after month, you see the same friction points, the same manual workarounds, the same questions that take too long to answer. Those patterns are the design brief for the tools we build.

The tools close the loop — automating the repetitive, accelerating the analytical, and freeing the people inside the business to focus on the decisions that actually need human judgment. This is the Huntlogic model: compliance → advisory → tools → better compliance → better advisory.
