1. Who We Are
Huntlogic is a South African boutique advisory practice operated by Shaun Tsatsi ("Huntlogic", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information submitted to us through this website and our advisory sessions. It applies to all visitors, clients, and subscribers.
2. What Personal Information We Collect
We collect personal information in the following contexts:
- Contact form: Name, email address, company name, industry/niche, and your message.
- Store purchases: First and last name, email address, and role (Business Owner or Accountant/Consultant). Payment details are processed by PayFast and are not stored by Huntlogic.
- CIPC Briefing bookings: Name, email address, company name and registration number, description of your compliance issue, documents you choose to upload, and your desired session outcomes.
- Bless the Channel: Name, email address, mobile number (optional), business name, business description, industry, and your message.
- Email subscriptions: Email address and, where provided, first and last name. Subscriptions are voluntary and opt-in only.
3. Why We Collect This Information (Lawful Basis)
- To deliver services: Advisory sessions, digital product delivery, and post-purchase communications require your contact details.
- Contractual necessity: Booking and payment processing require identity and contact information to fulfil the engagement.
- Legitimate interest: Notifying Shaun of enquiries and purchases so he can respond appropriately.
- Consent: Email marketing communications are sent only where you have explicitly opted in. You may withdraw consent at any time.
4. How We Use Your Information
- Sending digital products or booking confirmations you have purchased.
- Contacting you regarding your enquiry or advisory session.
- Adding you to an email list where you have opted in.
- Sending service-related transactional emails (receipts, booking reminders).
- Internal records for financial reconciliation.
We do not use your information for profiling, automated decision-making, or targeted advertising.
5. Third Parties We Share Information With
- PayFast — payment processing. PayFast processes payments and is subject to its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliance. Huntlogic does not receive or store card numbers.
- Sender.net — transactional email delivery and email list management. Personal data (name, email) is stored on Sender.net servers within their data processing infrastructure.
- Zapier — automation platform used to connect Bless the Channel payments to Sender.net for list addition. Limited data (name, email, amount) is passed through Zapier's platform.
- Calendly — appointment scheduling. When you book a session, your name and email are shared with Calendly to facilitate the booking.
- Netlify — website hosting and serverless functions. Netlify's platform processes form submissions and function invocations. Netlify's privacy policy applies.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
6. Data Retention
- Purchase records: Retained for 5 years in line with South African tax and financial record-keeping requirements.
- Advisory session intake forms: Retained for 2 years from the date of the session.
- Email list subscribers: Retained until you unsubscribe. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email.
- Contact form submissions: Retained for 12 months unless a follow-up engagement requires longer retention.
7. Cookies
This website uses minimal cookies. Essential cookies (required for navigation and forms) are set automatically. Non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing) are not set without your consent. A cookie consent notice is displayed on your first visit. You may adjust your preferences at any time via your browser settings.
8. Your Rights Under POPIA
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to any legal retention obligations.
- Object to the processing of your personal information.
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe your rights have been violated.

9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, or disclosure. Payment data is processed exclusively by PayFast under PCI-DSS standards. All data transmissions to and from this website use HTTPS encryption.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of this website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
